I. be sure to review the vocabulary words that are from the Constitution and forming a government
John Locke and enlightenment
slavery and abolitionists
different form of taxes and tariffs
Articles of Confederation/Constitutions and amendments
II. Underground Railroad/Dred Scott/economic conditions in the south vs north
manifest destiny/steel process/Missouri or 1850 Compromises
III. compare Dominican and US government first amendment rights
growth of railroads/immigration (all details)
You must be specific and exact in your answers. Not fooling around
The dates are important but I need details. Make use of the vocabulary in your short answer, paragraph (well written) AND ESSAYS! Think, make notes on your page if you need to. Use your intelligence and the who, what, when, where, why, Don"t finish the test in 30- minutes, that says you put no0 details or thin king. Even the best writers have to put their thoughts together in a clear style. Check your sentences when you write. be sure to connect the first paragraph to the second ande third. Just because it says 2-3 doesn"t mean only 2. It means that you need to really explain things to me clearly as if I don't know anything about it. Close your eyes and think of all we worked on to be specific about any idea. What was the beginning, the purpose of the thing....
Email me tonite for any questions... I will answer you if I can....Good luck...

assignment due
ALL GROUPS READ THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH
group 3 who did their "debate and vote" on Tuesday. READ THIS FIRST.
GROUP 1 will present on Wednesday read this next. Both groups assignment due Friday before first and only recess typed, ready to grade.
Group 2 will turn in on Monday because they will not present until Friday.
the assignment is to write a complete full page of your bill at the top, be very SPECIFIC and use every detail. Describe who, what, when, where and why of the bill. The more information you have discovered and the better you describe your concept the better your grade will be (20 points total) plus the "up to ten points" not for your participation but for the quality of your participation. Some peple said more with less words, while others spoke alot but said nothing. You need to learn to be specific in your arguements. Typed, double-spaced with a title and your name. In the last paragraph give your opinion of the exercise and did you like it or not and
what you learned from this effort.
Remember MUN members must take their exam on Monday after school or Tuesday in class. We leave on Wednesday and no exam, no grade above 70 Are we clear?
Group 1 exam on part 1 multiple choice Tuesday/part 2 essay Thursday no school Wednesday
Group 2 exam on Friday both parts but you have 10 minutes less than the others because Friday is a shorter schedule.
Group 3 exam on Tuesday block as scheduled.
MUN students in group 2 or 3 who can get permission to take their exam on Tuesday during group 3 try to do it. Speak to me and I will help with your teacher. If you are absent you MUST MAKE UP THE EXAM (a different one) on Monday when I return from CILA. If not you will not receive a grade over 70 as well. Are we clear about that?
Send a bb, facebook, email to everyone. I liked the way the entire 10th grade helped each other out. You are all good guys except ___________ you know who you are!!!!!!
Good luck
